Model ELMA has a sealing resistance on one jaw only. It is therefore suited for sealing bags with max thickness 80 microns.
Elma is suitable for continuous operations because it works automatically and is not demanding for the operator.
Sealing jaws are operated by a magnet. When the pedal is briefly pressed, the jaws close, the sealing is started, followed by a cooling period at the end of which the jaws re-open automatically.
Sealing time and cool-off time can be regulated by two independent timers.

In addition, a special switch allows fully automatic operation: in this mode the sealing cycles are repeated at the rate set by the operator by means of an independent timer. The pause between one sealing cycle and the next can be programmed up to six seconds.

The sealer performs a ribbon welding, 2 mm wide.
